He most recently served as president and board member of Embassy National Bank, a community bank based in the Atlanta suburb of Lawrenceville that has almost $100 million in assets and is a leading lender to small businesses in the southeastern United States. Every day, Joe’s experience and expertise helps small business owners throughout the region so they are better prepared for the fast-changing world we live in.

J. Thad Moss & Co was established in 1950 in Naples, Fl.

Continuing my father's legacy as he helped pioneer Port Royal and assist his community in its financial affairs, we assist Borrowers, Lenders, and Investors with acquiring and managing capital within the commercial real estate industry. We have established offices in both Naples, FL and Atlanta, GA to better service our client's opportunities across the Sunbelt.

During a banking career of almost 40 years, Joe Moss has given wings to the dreams of thousands of developers, real estate investors, and small business owners in a diverse cross array of multiple industries. When helping your capital requirement, we will make ensure an optimum financing structure while giving you a peak into the mind of the Banker or Lender. When investing for you, you will know that your investment is safe and will provide significant returns.

Due to his passion for small business and the limited ability of community banks to serve the needs of the commercial real estate industry, Joe left the community banking industry and re-instituted J. Moss and Co. (established in 1991). J. Moss and Co. provides a wide range of financial services to both banks and the small business industry. We specialize in capital and debt acquisition, financial restructuring, and strategy.

Previous to leading community banks, Moss was a director of Ceto and Associates, a national consulting firm that provided revenue-enhancement solutions for financial institutions. As one of the original members of that firm, he was instrumental in the company's growth and was responsible for project management and product development.

Prior to joining Ceto in 1994, Moss was a senior manager at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he served as a project manager within the revenue enhancement practice. He served as chief operating officer for Caribank, a $500-million asset community bank in Pompano Beach, Fla. from 1987 to 1990, when he directed the sale of the bank to Citicorp. Moss began his career with the First National Bank of Atlanta in 1976, where he was responsible for numerous financial management-related projects.
